I joined Battlefield 1 after green-light to reimagine the single-player experience for one of gaming’s largest multiplayer franchises. My mission: turn the vast scale of World War I into deeply personal, playable moments.
We adopted an anthology structure - six distinct War Stories, each with its own tone, setting and gameplay - so players would feel the full scope of war while staying grounded in human emotion. My team and I defined the narrative-design blueprint, guided tone, structure and gameplay transitions, and ensured each story held up as a standalone experience and part of a unified whole.
The result: a single-player campaign that broke the mould for the franchise and framed war through the lens of individual survival, hope and humanity.
