UNDER CONTROL
BATTLEFIELD 6 - Cinematic Development
In the latter days of Battlefield 6, I collaborated with Goodbye Kansas to pitch and produce cinematic assets for the next entry in the series.
Co-created the winning pitch with director Will Adams, we distilled the game’s setting into a single immersive asset that grounded players in a near-future world.
We defined the tone, voice, and visual style for the piece.
I wrote, previsualized, edited, and maintained the core piece throughout production, partnering closely with Will from concept to delivery.
Collaborated with an exceptional cross-discipline team to evolve the work from its earliest form to final polish.
We delivered two key assets:
Game Opening Cinematic - introducing new players to the world and seamlessly transitioning to the title screen.
Campaign Opening Cinematic - establishing the single-player experience and emotional tone for the story ahead.
Our intro had 90 seconds to slingshot
players into a near-future war.
Campaign Opener
While the Cinematic Opener was general to the world of Battlefield 6,
the Campaign Opener was specific to a moment that the campaign begins.
A single beat in time had to be primed as the tipping point for global geopolitics.
